"Melissa was amazing, you can feel the pride she had for her property the second you pull in the gate. Breakfast was delectable and the room was super cozy and spacious. "Neat spot in the jungle, although it was different than expected based on the VRBO listing.We did see some great thunder/lightening storms, my kiddo was able to pick wild bananas and see neat wildlife and we appreciated having the pool and outdoor seating area.Travels should be aware that the VRBO listing states 15 min walk to beach/national park and 3 min drive to beach. The house is East of highway in the mountains (not near beach/contrary to VRBO map, which shows it near La Cucinga)AC in two bedrooms ineffective. Windows cannot be closed (which is good for natural air flow, but not good for AC). One of the rooms has a mobile unit without external venting, rendering it useless. When we arrived, there were no extra trash bags/cleaning supplies (dishwashing detergent).Kitchen wasn't "fully equipped/gourmet": no basic items like salt/oil to cook; well loved pots/pans/utensils. We were expecting more given the listing."

"From Check In to Check Out, this was an amazing vacation home. Every common area of the home inside and outside is designed for socializing. Lots of seating, tables and lighting. If you are contemplating staying at this location, do not hesitate, it is perfect! We have traveled as a family of 7 for many years and this is by far the best home we have ever stayed at. As many people have said, there is a couple that lives on the property. They are there to help make your stay perfect! Darling cooked the most delicious meals! Licho set up all our excursions prior to our arrival. They gave us a tour of the home upon arrival and were available throughout our stay to answer questions, ask for recommendations and to take care of any concerns at the house. Prior to the trip I was wondering if I would feel uncomfortable with a couple living on the property. I like my privacy and do not like to feel like I am being monitored. We felt completely private. Darling and Licho are available to assist with anything, but other than that, you forget they are on the property. The set up is perfect. The living quarters are separate and the property is very large that you do not remember they live there also. Licho set up several excursions for us and we felt very safe and had so much fun on the excursions. Our boys took surfing lessons, we went fishing, we had massages done at the home (that was amazing!) and we went on a snorkeling excursion to Cano Island. All top notch! 5 Star Stay!!"
