First time we ran out of gas. 2nd time we were stormed out. The weather got so rough we felt like we were gonna blow off the mountain. Had to race the storm back to Pancake Bay dodging large chunks of hail. It was so black behind us. Nearest town of any consequence is Wawa and that is some distance away. The place felt gloriously remote although it is just off the Trans-Canada Highway. This I believe is Rabbit Blanket Lake and nearby is the South Old Woman River.
