Right next door, Ruggles Park adds even more to explore — a community beach, basketball court, and fishing pier make it a natural playground for families, friends, and anyone who loves the outdoors. (Pack a cooler and grab a lawn chair to make the moment even sweeter.) Please note: pets are not permitted, and there are no lifeguards on duty. So this was conveniently located and just what we needed for a weekend stay. Although considered “rustic” per the listing, it had everything we needed. The whole house fan kept things nice and cool at night. The bed in the main bedroom was comfortable, good water pressure in the shower, and plenty of amenities.
