He saw our car was safely parked off street, welcomed us with a wee sherry before showing us to our lovely room. Just what we needed including being provided with spray repellent just in case. All part of the service. Due to our late arrival, Mike kindly phoned a local restaurant to find out when the kitchen closed. The two padded chairs in the room were also dirty. We couldn't stay there so we left. The town is run-down and i wouldn't recommend staying in colesburg; rather book on the banks of the orange river or gariep dam. also wouldn't recommend parking your car outside - quite a dodgy neighborhood.
