A very well run and put together hotel in a beautiful building and setting. The staff were fantastic, all the fittings are well designed and of high quality, and the food good. The fort itself is a fascinating an beautiful building, very sympathetically converted.

Beautifully restored and styled property. Great service and delicious meals. Suites were luxurious in a delightfully understated way. Spa was top notch and yoga classes excellent. Stayed with multiple family members and staff made sure we were well taken care of. I hope to return someday!

Our stay at RAAS Devigarh was one of the most peaceful and unique experiences during our trip in India. The hotel is located in a restored 18th-century palace surrounded by the Aravalli hills, and the setting feels very calm and private. The architecture is stunning. We had a property tour. The palace is built from white marble and has beautiful courtyards, terraces, and quiet spaces where you can relax and enjoy the views of the countryside. It feels both historic and modern at the same time. The food at the restaurant was excellent, with both Indian and international options prepared with great quality. Breakfast on the terrace with views of the hills was a highlight. The staff were extremely warm and attentive throughout our stay. Everyone made us feel very welcome and took great care of us. RAAS Devigarh is a wonderful choice if you want to experience a historic palace hotel with a calm and luxurious atmosphere near Udaipur.

This is a wonderful hotel in an excellent setting with great facilities and a very attentive team. 5 star service. The amravali suites are very nice. However the hotel does seem to attract quite annoying guests, the north Indian middle classes who are crude in their behaviours. They are rude to the staff, loud, the restaurant is treated like a roadside dhabba, they are in the pool fully clothed with grown adults throwing around frizzbies like it’s a children’s water park. The team were extremely patient and accommodating and did their utmost to provide an excellent service. Just the clientele that let it down.

RAAS Devigarh is a hidden gem in the vicinity of the Aravali mountains. The property has been kept in pristine condition and it is evident that the owner has gone great lengths to preserve the heritage of the palace all while giving a touch of modern refinement to the property. The food is delicious and the views, breathtaking. Would visit again.

Superbe ancien palais rénové avec beaucoup de goût dans un cadre enchanteur, toute l'équipe est très attentionnée et très professionnelle. La cuisine est variée et très bonne, la plupart des légumes sont cultivés sur place. On n'a pas essayé le Spa, mais la piscine et le jacuzzi sont parfaits.

RAAS - the perfect hotel

This was the very best hotel that I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. The place is fabulous and the service top rate. Every employee was extremely cordial. It's off the beaten path but worth the extra time to get there.

Beautiful experience

The service is excellent. Greeted by rose petals falling down on us as we walked onto the property. Delicious breakfast with many choices included. A wonderful Doctor of Ayueveda was so helpful when I arrived with a cold! The spa experience was very good too.
