However, the property did not have ramps, which made it difficult to manage luggage as we had to drag multiple heavy bags up and down small sets of stairs after traveling internationally for nine days. The room itself was very disappointing. The ceilings showed visible mold, the bathroom was unclean with outdated fixtures, a peeling and damaged toilet seat, and a shower that appeared not to have been sanitized in some time. The room also had a strong, unpleasant odor, and the view overlooked a developing area scattered with tools, separated only by a short fence from what seemed to be an abandoned rice field. While the pool outside appeared nice, the overall condition of the facilities made it uninviting. Due to these issues, I had to check out immediately and book last-minute accommodations in Canggu, which was inconvenient as most of my excursions were based in Ubud. Certainly safe and secure and not completely unhygienic. However the facilities are old, curtains were mouldy, paint peeling on walls, tv didn't work and towels looked and felt like cleaning rags - covered in stains. My mattress was quite uncomfortable (hard) and was stained underneath (no mattress topper - just a thin, old, stained sheet between me and the mattress. The breakfast was included and was ok...but 2 out of the 3 days I was there they didn't have the option I chose on the menu. But nice to have some sort of breakfast available. The staff were nice enough. For this price point though, there are a lot nicer options. The staff are very attentive and caring. I sustained an injury in Ubud and the staff were very helpful in helping me whilst I got better. Huge corner bath as deep as a pool. 2 showers. Food was good and great prices.2 lovely pools.with outdoor shower. Lots of 3 or 4 steps going to my room. I'm not fond of steps.rice paddy view on right hand side.very close too markets etc. Shuttle bus will take you and pick up. A small charge of course. But the resort is on a hill, not that fit. But just fabulous needs a little paint on the walls my only concern But an excellent stay and great price. Great value accommodation, very comfortable. The rooms are beautiful even had a large bath , Nice touches like fresh flowers, plenty of towels. 2 pools, very good onsite restaurant day spa services. Staff were amazing very helpful and friendly .
