Splash into the private pool. Dash to the beach for a surf. Stroll to the creek to kayak or paddle board. Take your pet for a walk or swim on the 2 km leash free beach. Dine at a restaurant. Splash's kitchen and living areas are open plan and look out at the gorgeous pool. There is a separate living area for the children to play video games, listen to music and watch TV while you relax with friends in the kitchen/living area. There are three televisions, two bathrooms and a two car garage. It truly is Utopia! The children will love the newly refurbished wooden playground complete with slide, climbing dome, swing and monkey bars. You can spend days exploring the region south to Byron Bay, west to the sunset over Mt Wollumbin/Warning in the National Park, north to the Gold Coast and Tweed area and a picturesque drive south-west through the dairy, sugar-cane and banana country to Murwillumbah. There are week-end markets, art galleries, beaches, fine food, cycle ways, parks and nature walks everywhere you look. With the gorgeous Cudgen creek boasting a large array of sea life, many locals and visitors enjoy snorkelling through or fishing north of the bridge. Local events are frequently held on the foreshore including surf competitions, festivals, and fundraisers. Beachside markets are held on the second and fourth Saturday of every month from 8am to 1pm. Throughout the year dolphins frequent the river mouth, and between April to November the ocean comes alive with spectacular shows from humpback whales making their annual migration. Kingscliff is the jewel of the Tweed Coast, enjoy the beautiful coastal atmosphere that the town brings, with plenty to see and do in and surrounding the town. The layout of the house was lovely with the pool being centre. Kids had their own bedrooms and tv space away from the main living area but because of how the house is laid out you could still keep an eye on them. The property had lots of space and was well equipped. The pool and outside area is especially nice, the pool temperature and water was great! The kids play area is sweet too, it could do with a little more bark chip to cover the plastic that's sticking out, my 3 didnt play there much cause she kept tripping over but I'm sure the play area got ignored for the pool and beach anyway!! ##### Lana G. There was heaps of room and our 6 year old loved the park in the back yard. We will definitely be back! We had fabulous weather so the pool got used 100%. The house has ducted air conditioning so that was a plus for us. Nice layout. Take your own dvds. We had just two negatives - the first being that the main bedroom does not have a curtain cover on the high window so there was no chance of a lie in as the room lit up with the sunrise each morning. The second was the BBQ it was disgusting and had to spend a good 40 mins just cleaning the cooking surface to a useable state. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the beach. The agents were lovely to deal with, everything worked really well, the beach is less than a 5 minute walk away and the pool and outdoor area was a sensation. We had heaps of room to spread out and really be at peace in this highly functional space. This is a super pet friendly home which would also be amazing for kids for all ages and interests. There are a few small superficial bumps and scratches on the walls and furniture in this otherwise glamorous, movie star house which made us much less anxious about getting our security deposit back. The only negative was the rubbish in the pool left by the previous people, but that took minutes to rectify and then we got onto the important work of being on holiday.
