This cute cabin is located in Cuiver River State Park and is close by many hiking trails. The cabin is a three bedroom and two bath, which is great for family trips or just a weekend getaway. The park itself consists of 6,400 acres in northeastern Missouri and is made up of limestone bluffs, forest hills and Lake Lincoln which spans 55 acres. We highly suggest; hiking, biking, running, kayaking, fishing, and taking pictures in the park. Make sure to bring your bike, kayak or fishing gear to have the best time possible while at our park side cabin. Upstairs bathroom shower curtain was old. Lots of baseboard dust. Flooring was peeling near kitchen. Upstairs bed was broken. Had missing support poles so the mattress sagged really badly. Outside areas were not usable and didn't look as nice as the pictures. Old chairs. Grill items spread out in areas around deck. Deck hadn't been cleaned. It was very clean, the hosts provided us with delicious muffins. They also provided all the basics including everything you could need in the kitchen, a washer/dryer and a charcoal grill outside. A few things to note, which are more of a heads up, nothing against the hosts or the cabin. There is only one tv, the cabin is very close to the road which was busy (guessing that was due to it being Memorial Day weekend) and the thermostat was set to where it couldn't go below 70 degrees, this left the house a little warmer than we are used to, especially upstairs.
