Hotellet har ikke aircondition på noen av rommene sine, så det ble forferdelig varmt om dagen. Flyplassen er like i nærheten, men lydisolasjonen er så god at med vinduet lukket kunne vi ikke høre noen ting. Dessverre var vinduet eneste måten å få frisk luft, så det var ikke bare varmt men også bråkete midt på sommerdagen. Hotels.com ilmoittaa hotellin olevan 1,2km päässä keskustasta – omaa typeryyttäni uskoin tähän. Hotellihan on lentokentän vieressä aivan saaren toisella puolella kuin missä keskusta. Matkaa on tosiasiassa neljästä viiteen kilometriä, ja välissä niin suuri harju että selkä kuivana ei sen yli jalkapelissä mennä. Tuollaisia pettymyksiä ei matkailija juuri kaipaisi. ##### Antti ### 6/10 Okay #### Verified traveller Dec 17, 2015 Liked: Cleanliness, room comfort #### Good hotel The hotel is close enough to the airport that you can walk to it, even in cold weather, which is very appealing, especially for a short stay. It is close to the airport and yet you aren't bothered by the sounds of planes. The beds were comfortable and the room was warm. The breakfast buffet was very good with a wide range of food and drink to choose from. The only downside was the absolute lack of staff. When we arrived in the early evening there was one (very nice) lady at reception and one lady behind the bar. The lady at reception, I noticed, was also having to carry out other jobs away from the reception desk which meant that the reception was sometimes unattended and the lady behind the bar/restaurant was overwhelmed with orders for food and drink with only half the restaurant area filled. She tried very hard, but any time she needed to go to the kitchens the bar was unattended so there was often a line waiting. Staff were friendly and accommodating though and I would recommend the Scandic Tromsø overall. ##### Verified traveller ### 6/10 Okay #### Hild J.
