"This was our first time in Oregon and we loved our stay in Government camp! The cabin was rustic but in very good shape, comfortable bed, clean bathroom and kitchen. The working fireplace was a very nice plus!We weren’t expecting the property to be quite so rural, it was a ways down an unpaved road off a highway - would recommend 4WD especially if there is any chance of weather (it was 15deg cooler at altitude than down the mountain in Hood River) but may have been on us for not understanding the layout of the Government Camp area better.Overall would definitely recommend if you want a very private getaway way out in the woods!"

"Beautiful new property. As advertised and was perfect for our family. Host was very accommodating. Unfortunately our trip was cut short due to evacuation for grasshopper fires. We were refunded for the night we didn't stay.Highly recommend it!"

"The place was exactly as advertised. Great location, clean, spacious, and well maintained. It had everything we needed to cook a couple of meals and large enough frig to store all the food. Bathrooms and bedrooms were clean and roomy."

"This place worked great for our needs. We had a large group that needed to be close to the mountain to support a race. The place offered plenty of seating, easy access, lots of beds, baths, and hot water. We would have appreciated a few more kitchen items (sheet pan and colander for example) as well as facial tissues for the price we paid. The garbage in a few of the bathrooms was dirty/not emptied when we arrived. It was easy to find and check in. I would not hesitate to stay here again."

"The pictures were quite accurate and the cabin is absolutely gorgeous. When the dishwasher accidentally broke between cleaning and our arrival, the hosts were quick to try and solve the problem. Some of the furniture is looking a little worse for the wear: most of the couches in the main living room are sagging and need to be replaced. Wifi didn't work most of the weekend and the game chest was pretty bare. Seems like the place just needs a little refresh!"

"If you're headed to Mt. Hood, look no further. A great, fully remodeled home/cabin in the heart of Government Camp. A floor plan with great amenities for large families or a few families and all to enjoy. We went there in the summer with great access to lakes and nearby fun, but look forward to revisiting in the snow, as this looks like a great spot to stay during the winter climate also. Very well kept and clean."

"Great location and unit. The only issue was that the refrigerator was not a full size one so we had to make more trips to the grocery store than we normally would have. Would definitely stay again."

"Unit was really great. Clean, everything as listed. I do rent couple of others in very similar set ups in the same building but this unit was about 30% more expensive. And the people who lives there were very obvious that they didn’t appreciate us visitors with children. So there were some awkward/uncomfortable moments."
