However, when we entered the unit, there was an overwhelming cigarette odor inside the unit including the bathroom. When we brought this to the owner’s attention, they were dismissive and claimed it must be from coming from outside. We had to keep the door open to get fresh air. Upon departure, our clothing and personal items also smelled of cigarette smoke. The response was an apology and they would look into it in the morning. No follow up response acknowledging our concerns. Due to this inconvenience and lack of willingness to remedy the situation, I am requesting a refund. ##### Marcy D. I did contact the property manager because I couldn't initially access the message thru VRBO containing the wifi password. No reply, so I called and left a voice message. I also made them aware of a wet ceiling tile in the bathroom. There was no acknowledgment of the messages.
