Welcome to our charming hotel-style studio apartment in Traverse City, Michigan! The Space:

The studio apartment boasts two queen sized beds, providing a restful sanctuary after a day of exploring the city. The kitchenette is equipped with a mini fridge and a 2-burner stove, allowing you to prepare your own meals and snacks at your convenience (basic cookware is provided).

It is a refurbished motel room with a small refrigerator and a small stove. It was clean and was much cheaper then the surrounding hotels.

Disappointing stay

Location and initial communication with host was great. However, when we entered the unit, there was an overwhelming cigarette odor inside the unit including the bathroom. When we brought this to the owner’s attention, they were dismissive and claimed it must be from coming from outside. We had to keep the door open to get fresh air. Upon departure, our clothing and personal items also smelled of cigarette smoke. The response was an apology and they would look into it in the morning. No follow up response acknowledging our concerns. Due to this inconvenience and lack of willingness to remedy the situation, I am requesting a refund.

Simple, quiet place

My friends and I stayed here for a few nights and it was perfect. We were within 10-15 mins of all the attractions, down town, and wineries. There were lots of coffee places and places to eat very close by. The room had everything we needed and it was very clean. I would stay here again!

The apartment was very clean! Easy lock system to operate and the owner was very communicative with easy instructions for everything! Great location with only a 7 min drive outside of the city. Definitely would recommend this place to friends/family.

Quiet and Convenient

Great location! Super close to the Cherry Festival events. The inside of the apartment was clean, but the overgrown weeds out front made it look bad when arriving. It was quiet and the beds were comfortable. I did contact the property manager because I couldn't initially access the message thru VRBO containing the wifi password. No reply, so I called and left a voice message. I also made them aware of a wet ceiling tile in the bathroom. There was no acknowledgment of the messages. It all worked out, but there should've been a communication from the management.
