At Simply Home Stay, we believe that everyone deserves a place where they can truly feel at home while travelling—a place they’ll be happy to return to.

Our bright, spacious, and light-filled 3-room apartment, spanning 110 m² over two levels, is located in a historic building in beautiful Traunstein in the Chiemgau region. The apartment can accommodate up to 8 guests and is ideal for families, groups of friends, or a relaxing stay in the mountains.

The Apartment
The spacious apartment spans two floors and is ideal for families or groups.

The private entrance is located on the first floor. On the first floor, you’ll find a bright living room with a 55-inch smart TV, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom, and a bedroom with two double beds—perfect for relaxing after an eventful day.

On the second floor, there is another spacious bedroom with a children’s bed and a crib.

Location
The apartment is centrally located in Traunstein, so supermarkets, restaurants, cafés, and shops are all within easy walking distance:
- Traunstein Train Station: about a 10-minute walk (direct connections to Munich and Salzburg)
- Supermarkets (EDEKA, REWE, etc.): about a 5–10-minute walk
- Bakeries and cafés: about a 3–8-minute walk
- Restaurants and downtown / town square: about a 5–10-minute walk
- Pharmacies and drugstores: approx. 5–10 minutes on foot

Traunstein is located in the beautiful Chiemgau region and is an ideal starting point for excursions:

- Lake Chiemsee (approx. 15 minutes) – the “Bavarian Sea” with Herreninsel and Herrenchiemsee Castle
- Hiking and skiing areas in the Alps are just a short drive away
- Salzburg: about 30 minutes, Munich approx. 1.5 hours

The surrounding area offers numerous opportunities for hiking, biking, or relaxing in nature.

Sleeping Arrangements
The apartment offers comfortable sleeping accommodations for up to 8 guests:
- Upper bedroom: large 1.80 m king-size bed
- Lower bedroom: two 1.60 m queen-size beds
- Living room: comfortable sleeper sofa for up to 2 additional guests

We’ve also got families covered. A crib and a high chair are available upon request.
There are also games and a cozy teepee for children to play and read in.

Guest Access
Access to the apartment is easy via a key box, allowing for flexible check-in.

The apartment door is on the first floor, but the living areas are on the first and second floors.
