Trans Swiss Trail Tours and Activities

This hotel is on the tired side. Carpeting and exterior are in need of updates. We had a suite with a lake view that was very nice, but please note this hotel caters to large tour groups. Rooms are fairly noisy. Bed and pillows were comfortable. The staff at the front desk were not helpful at all with the exception of Roxana. She was very pleasant and helpful. The Ticino bus pass was great to get to the station and city center. You cannot use the shuttle for transfers unless booked in advance days before. Staff in the restaurant were overall pleasant. Breakfast choices nothing special at all. It was annoying that every afternoon someone comes to your room to check on the mini bar usage. The hotel was difficult to navigate as it’s large and lacks any real signage to find your way. No one showed us to our room that was multiple buildings and elevators away. When asking for directions at the Med Spa, the women abruptly said, “No.” She then made faces towards me and stopped when my husband came up behind me. Rather childish and unkind. Clearly I had interrupted her day. There are probably better options for hotels in the area. We would not stay there again. View from our room was gorgeous, we’ll give them that.
