You’re on holiday after all! The snug but well-equipped kitchen is just perfect for cooking seafood picked up from the nearby fish market. A comfy and welcoming sofa beckons - perfect for cuddling up on - and there's a smart TV for when you want a good old-fashioned film night. With sites like the Roman Villa ruins at your feet and the beach a stone's throw away, you’ll get to check off everything you have on your Tossa bucket list. From the foodie haven that is the beachfront that’s always brimming with lively bars and restaurants that perfume the air with the smell of traditional paella, to the narrow cobbled streets with little boutique shops scattered throughout, you really are spoilt for choice. And the best part about being in a small town is that you have everything you need in walking distance: supermarkets, pharmacies, you name it. SORROUNDINGS: There's nothing quite like the Costa Brava. Boasting impressive rock formations all along the ravishingly beautiful Mediterranean sea, it’s no wonder that the Catalan coast made artists like Dali and Picasso fall under its charm. Tossa is one of many quaint fishing villages in the area but its walled, castle-topped old townundoubtedly sets it apart from the rest as it’s the only remaining example of a fortified medieval village in the area. Between this and its stunning deep-blue waters, its romanticism, the friendliness of its people, it’s no wonder that french painter Marc Chagall famously named it the “blue paradise.” If you’re looking for a place with a little village feel to it where you imagine yourself shopping at the farmers market and going down to the beachfront to look at the fishermen bringing in their catch, then Tossa de Mar ticks off all the boxes. Tossa’s scenic hiking trails and hidden coves will suit all outdoorsy types, it’s live music bars will satisfy any music fans needs, foodies looking for fresh seafood will be spoilt for choice, and any history buffs can rejoice at the local museums. Our experiences will help you get off the tourist trail and into the spots where the locals really go, helping you discover all the unmissable places to eat, see and things to do here. Electricity is included in the price if it is used within normal parameters. Once they are finished you have to buy your own products.-Our towels can not be brought to the pool or the beach.-Animals are not permitted in the properties.-It is forbidden to smoke.-Parties in the properties are prohibited. -If you don’t comply to these norms or if we get complaints from the neighbors, you can be evicted immediately from the property without necessarily being reimbursed.-Before the check-out : the dishes have to be cleaned and you have to throw the garbage and the remaining food. The beach, the old city, all the shops and eateries, the bus station and the bicycle shop. We had no vehicle and did not require one to enjoy the wonderful experience of Tossa. The apartment is exactly as beautiful as I hoped it would be. The listing said checkout is at 9 but it is actually at 11\. There is also no hot tub but I didnt notice one was listed in the amenities until the day we arrived so no big let down. We loved the pretty view from the huge windows. You have an old Moor Tower, an old domed church, some Roman remains , a beautiful hotel on the hill and lots of trees. Of note, there are a lot of recycling and garbage dumpsters close by and those can be a bit noisy with users and the frequent emptying that gets done before 6 am by the city. The office for Let’s Holidays is just around the corner so help is nearby if required. An all around great apartment to enjoy Tossa. Would stay again. ##### Elizabeth P.
