However the manager went out of his way to arrange for it and the sauna to be opened so we could use the facilities. The hotel has a roof top restaurant which served good quality food but it was full of people smoking. Our bathroom was in a dreadful state with black mold on the ceiling, rotting door frame and peeling and discoloured grout. The breakfast was superb and had an amazing choice of mezes....

"Travelling solo on a bicycle, this was a great place to arrive after a long day. The reception was very welcoming and efficient. The large pool looked very inviting but I arrived after 18.30 and it was closed for the outdoor dining guests to eat in peace. I was one of them later and the food and service was very good. I had a wonderful suite with sea view which was bigger than I needed but that was what was still available."
