"Let's say the resort still harks back to a time decades ago. On check-in, the young staff members are rather unfriendly and their hearts are just not in it. They ask if you are sure that you really want a "matrimonial" room (I know a little Romanian and understand that this is the correct term). They then run through their spiel through the hotel policies and facilities in 10 seconds as fast as possible. Customer service is non-existent. If you are a girl, you may get good service. The room itself is very dated. Air conditioning was functional but not able to bring the temperature of the room down. Wifi was very weak and slow. Two out three jacuzzis/spas were broken. It is obvious no money is being spent on this hotel as I can see in reviews one year ago that they were broken then too and they will probably be broken indefinitely. Towels are not provided for the swimming pool. You are meant to either ask for them at the front desk (where they are incredulous that you would ask for towels) or just take your bath towels. The towels are a limited commodity as we took some towels down and some guy stole our towel and started using it as he didn't have one - proving why the hotel should provide free pool towels for guests. The hotel seems to stuck in the 90s or even earlier, relying on its former glories. It desperately needs renovation and staff training. Oh, and there is a nightclub downstairs."
