If you’re looking for where locals vacation, this is it. Roughly an hour from the Mérida airport, the hotel nails that laid-back Yucatán vibe. Mornings on the private beach, afternoons by the pool with more drinks and snacks than you can try. It’s the kind of place you go to actually unwind. Highly recommend for anyone craving a slow-paced escape.

A lovely place to stay but little things let it down. E.g. in our room you almost needed a wrench to turn on/off the cold water in the shower. No fridge in room for such a hot climate. We had two dinners in the restaurant. Both good with excellent staff.
