Lovely spacious property. Our hosts were generous with the welcome pack and also heating. Also we really enjoyed the log fire and breakfasting by the bay windows which looked out over the countryside. It also benefited from clear dark skies for northern lights which made a showing (on camera) on several nights. Would strongly recommend as an ideal get away. There is a small shop nearby (200 yds) for small purchases or cafe. Thurso is 4 miles away for local shops and ferry to Orkney at Scabster next door.
