1. Oresund Bridge

3. Stortorget
Stortorget is the oldest square in the city and marks the center of the Old Town. Visit some of Malmo’s most important buildings, enjoy cultural events and dine on the outdoor terraces of cafés and restaurants. The square was built in 1536 by former mayor Jorgen Kock. At the time of inauguration, it was one of the largest city squares in Northern Europe.

4. Folkets Park

Towering above the parks and Malmö’s green waterfront precinct is the HSB Turning Torso, one of Europe’s most eye-catching buildings. Inspired by a white marble sculpture called Twisting Torso, this 623-foot (190-meter) building has remarkable architecture, featuring a 90-degree twist.

6. Gustav Adolf Square
At Gustav Adolf’s Square you can admire architecture from the 19th and 20th centuries, be part of one of Malmo’s biggest summer festivals and shop for fair trade souvenirs at a Christmas market. The square dates back to 1804 and takes its name from King Gustav II Adolf. When the king decided to remove the old city walls and create a new district, the square became its focal point.
