The Palácio Hotel do Buçaco was built in the late 19th century in Neo-Manueline style.  It is part of an architectural and landscape complex in the National Forest of Buçaco.  The Palace is richly furnished and decorated with several works of art, wonderful frescoes and fantastic tile panels, representing above all the Epic of the Portuguese Discoveries.  Most works are by 19th century Portuguese masters such as Jorge Colaço and Carlos Reis.

O Palácio Hotel do Buçaco foi construído no final do século XIX em estilo Neomanuelino. Faz parte de um complexo arquitetônico e paisagístico na Mata Nacional do Buçaco. O Palácio está ricamente mobilado e decorado com várias obras de arte, afrescos maravilhosos e fantásticos painéis de azulejos representando sobretudo a Epopeia dos Descobrimentos Portugueses. A maioria dos trabalhos é da autoria de mestres portugueses do séc. XIX como Jorge Colaço e Carlos Reis.
