The place itself was nice. The area not so much. Most importantly I blame Expedia because you had this designated as a Downtown hotel- this was not downtown. It was a mile or so from downtown and the walk there was through a rough neighborhood.

The photos of the elegant and stylist apartment-style lofts played a significant factor in my decision. The loft was exactly liked the photo only better! You entered into an ambience of exquisite antiques, art, and old world charm with modern high-end five star hotel amenities and conveniences. You feel transported to a global travel hotel experience without a passport! Casa Duro has been designed to create an oasis outside of the hectic pace of the city, which you will appreciate. Their restaurant below is a great place offering casual fine dining culinary menu options. In fact, the entire area will delight and surprise you! I highly recommend Casa Duro for your next visit to Dallas. You will not be disappointed!
