The small health resort of Treseburg is situated in a sunny valley basin, surrounded by mountains, directly on the Harzer-Hexen-Stieg. Here begins the most beautiful section through the Bodetal with the 'Grand Canyon of the Harz', the deepest rocky valley north of the Alps. The holiday home Bodebaude is located in Treseburg and offers you a wonderful view of the mountains. The two-storey accommodation consists of a living room, a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a guest toilet, accommodating up to four people. Amenities include Wi-Fi, a TV, and a washing machine. A baby cot is also available. The holiday home features a secluded outdoor area with a garden, covered terrace, and barbecue facilities. In huis is vrijwel alles aanwezig wat je op vakantie nodig hebt. Ik vind het geschikt voor 4 personen, geen 6 door de toch dan wel beperkte ruimte. Een rustige dorp met vanuit huis veel wandelgelegenheid, wel veel smalle paden met veel grote hoogte verschillen. Maar ook wat verderop bredere paden voor ontspannen wandelen. Veel mooie plaatsen in de directe omgeving. Quedlinburg en Wernigerode zijn zeker een bezoek waard, Blankenburg kon ons niet bekoren. De wegen in de bergen zijn smal en de plaatselijke bevolking rijdt er vaak erg hard (je mag 100km/hr rijden, maar 50km/hr is echt wel meer verantwoord). Cons: Het weer was voor oktober niet geweldig, veel regen en lage temperatuur (onder 10 graden). Nu was het tijdens ons verblijf altijd bewolkt, maar op onbewolkte dagen zou er een mooie sterren hemel te zien zijn, maar er ging wel steeds een lamp aan als je naar buiten ging. Een mogelijkheid om deze aan of uit te zetten was prettig geweest. De thermostaat was slecht afgesteld, de klok in de thermostaat liep 2 uur en 15 minuten achter zodat het 's avond lang warm bleef en het s'morgens lang koud was. Die Lage ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für schöne Wanderungen und nur wenige Schritte sind es zur Bode. Auch eine Bushaltestelle ist nur wenige Schritte entfernt, um den Harz zu erkunden. Mit dem Gästebeitrag ist die Benutzung für den Bus im Umkreis sogar kostenfrei. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter ist sehr herzlich. Vielen Dank für immer einen erholsamen Urlaub in Ihrem Ferienhaus. Die Lage des Hauses mit dem Grundstück direkt am Fluss, die Ausstattung des Hauses - es könnte nicht besser sein. Und das zu einem sagenhaft guten Preis! Zu all dem, was die vorangegangenen Bewertungen schon beinhalten und was wir nur unterstreichen können, können wir noch hinzufügen, dass der Kontakt zu den Vermieterinnen immer äußert angenehm und unkompliziert ist. Als Ausgangspunkt dient uns dafür genau so lange das Ferienhaus der Familie Popp. Es ist ein sehr gepflegtes und gemütlich eingerichtetes Häuschen mit toller Lage im beschaulichen Treseburg. Neben einer kleinen geschützten Veranda verfügt der Garten über einen eigenen Zugang zur Bode. In dem Haus ist alles vorhanden, was man für einen kürzeren oder auch längeren Aufenthalt braucht. Neben dem erst kürzlich renovierten, voll ausgestatteten Bad findet sich auch noch eine separate Toilette. Uns hat es immer sehr gut gefallen und wir hoffen, noch oft im Ferienhaus Popp in Treseburg zu Gast sein zu können. Ob mit der Trockenfliege oder mit der Nymphe, hier wird jeder seinen Spaß finden. Am Ortsausgang von Treseburg gibt es eine gute Strecke für Einsteiger der Fliegenfischerei.
