was charged 50$ a day for my car to be valet parked to a 25$ parking garage. Total rip off. Also, everything in the little frig froze- bottles of soda/breakfast for the day we left. There was no way to make the fridge not so cold.They were going to wave the amenity fee- still charged 15$. Never again

I stayed in a suite at the Pontchartrain hotel Hotel over the Easter weekend and the room itself was excellent-spacious, comfortable and full of character. It was definitely the highlight of the stay. Unfortunately, the service didn't match the quality of the room. Staff came across as distracted and not particularly courteous. It often felt like guests were an afterthought. which took away from the overall experience. I also reached out to customer service after my stay and never received a response, which was disappointing and reinforced the lack of attentiveness. For the price I expected a higher level of hospitality. Honestly your money might be better spent on a VRBO or similar rental in the Garden District where you'll likely receive more attentive service and a better overall experience.
