Nestled in the charming coastal village of Penally, this beautifully positioned home enjoys an elevated outlook that captures sweeping vistas across the bay. The golden sands of South Beach are a gentle 5 to 10-minute stroll away, while vibrant Tenby can be reached in around 25 minutes on foot—either along the beach at low tide or via serene coastal footpaths. Penally offers a delightful taste of village life, with two welcoming traditional pubs, two exceptional restaurants, and a tempting local bakery, all within easy walking distance. Just moments from Tenby, guests can enjoy seasonal boat trips to Caldey Island, sea safaris, and fishing tours, while Pembrokeshire’s most-loved family attractions are only a short drive away, including Manor House Wildlife Park, Oakwood Theme Park, Heatherton, and the ever-popular Dinosaur Park. Entrance Set over 3 floors, stone steps lead up through the multi-level garden and to the cottage which enters into the porch (with storage for coats and shoes) and leads into the hallway. Kitchen/Dining Area Well-equipped with everything you will need for your self-catering holiday including dishwasher, fridge-freezer, gas range stove and electric oven and microwave. The dining area benefits from TV with DVD player only and comfortably seats up to 8 people next to the cosy wood burner, in front of the gorgeous bay window which perfectly captures the wonderful sea views. Utility Room Equipped with washer/dryer and leads through to the shower room with corner shower, toilet and washbasin - ideal for washing off the sand after a day at the beach! Upstairs Lounge Two cosy leather sofas, Smart TV with Freeview and incredible views from the two large windows. Bedroom 1 Double bed and ample storage. NB: There are numerous steps to access the property from the front (there is a shorter access from the back with less steps) so the property may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. The third (bottom) level of the garden is not for guest use and is cordoned off. There is a drop from this level to the road and children should be supervised at all times. To the rear of the property, off the kitchen there is a small courtyard - ideal for storing your buckets and spades, kayaks or bikes. You can also access the property through this courtyard via a metal staircase. Additional Information Penalun House further benefits from a BBQ, WiFi and central heating throughout. There is street parking 30 seconds away (subject to availability) and a pay and display car park approximately a 5-minute walk away. One well-behaved dog welcome. Bookings of all holiday accommodation whether made by telephone, e-mail, in person, in writing or over the internet are accepted by Puffin Cottage Holidays acting as the agent on behalf of the Owner. The contract to occupy the property is between you and the owner. By making any booking with us, you confirm that you accept these terms and conditions and agree to comply with and be bound by them. These booking terms and conditions include a number of defined terms as follows: "Booking" means the legally binding reservation for use of the property, with a specified start and end date. "Contract of Hire" The legally binding contract between the Hirer and the Owner "Deposit" means a deposit of 20% of the total holiday accommodation cost (which includes any "extras" selected at the time of booking). "Balance" means the balance of the Total Charges payable by you after payment of the Deposit as set out in paragraph 4. "Website" means the booking website. "Lead Hirer" means the person who has booked the accommodation. "Guest" means you and each person staying in the property with you. "Owner" means the owner of the Property you book which is the subject of the Contract of Hire. We do not own the properties on our website. "Agent" means Puffin Cottage Holidays. "Property" and "Properties" means the holiday property you book or enquire about through us. "You" means the lead person making a booking through us. When you make a booking through us you are confirming that you and every Hirer understands, agrees and accepts these terms and conditions. Contract and Booking We act as agents for the Owner. When you make a Booking through us the holiday let contract in respect of the Property is always between you and the Owner. As Agents we accept no responsibility for an injury or damage caused as a result of the Contract. Bookings cannot be accepted from persons under 21 years of age. The Lead Hirer must be one of the Guests staying at the property and shall not part with possession of the property or share it, except with other Guests named on the booking form. The Properties are not intended to be reserved for the purposes of parties and group bookings, including for stag, hen dos and birthdays, may not be allowed unless explicitly agreed with the Owner. In these circumstances the Owner may impose special requirements (including the possible requirement for, but not limited to, an extra damage deposit payment) No Bookings are confirmed until the Deposit (or Balance and Deposit if the holiday is less than 8 weeks away) is received and written confirmation of its receipt has been sent. Once a booking is confirmed it cannot be changed by you, unless agreed by the Owner, or by us on the Owner's behalf. If we or the Owner agree to make requested changes to your booking (for example, amending the date or Hirer) you will be required to pay £25 amendment fee per change. 2\. Booking Fees A booking fee of £24.00 is payable when making a booking. This is included in the displayed price of the holiday. 3\. Deposits and Balance Payments Bookings made within 8 weeks of your holiday date must be paid for in full at the time of booking. For a booking made more than 8 weeks before your holiday a deposit of 20% of the total due will be paid when booking to secure the booking. The balance will be paid 8 weeks prior to your holiday. If you make a booking within 8 weeks of the start of the holiday you will be required to pay for the holiday in full at the time of booking to secure the booking. In the event that the balance payment is not received by the required date, Puffin Cottage Holidays reserves the right (on behalf of the Owner) to cancel the booking and will be under no obligation to refund any deposits previously paid. The booking fee and Deposit are non-refundable unless we are unable to accept the booking on behalf of the Owner, or the Property is unavailable at the time of the holiday 4\. Damage Deposits Some properties may require damage deposits for all bookings made. If this is required, it will be recorded in the Property Description. Any damage deposit will be due along with the final balance payment, 8 weeks prior to your holiday, or, where the booking is made within 8 weeks of your holiday, the damage deposit must be paid in full at the time of booking. The damage deposit may be held by Puffin Cottage Holidays on behalf of the Owner. Whilst we will use our reasonable endeavours to liaise between the Owner and the lead Hirer, any disputed claims must be settled between the Owner and the lead Hirer and Puffin Cottage Holidays are not liable for any disputed claims. 5\. Availability The Contract of Hire is made on the understanding that the property and its facilities as published will be available for the dates stated. In the unlikely event that the property is not available through events outside the Owners control the lead Hirer will be notified as soon as possible. The lead Hirer shall be offered alternative dates or, at the Owners discretion, a refund but will have no further claims against the Owner or Puffin Cottage Holidays. Puffin Cottage Holidays will not be responsible to pay any compensation or expenses as a consequence of a Property not being available in these cases. The booking fee will be non-refundable in these circumstances as we will have carried out our services for this to you at the point of booking. 6\. We booked a supermarket slot with Morrisons for delivery very easily. There was a slight mix up on arrival date at the start but it was sorted immediately and seamlessly. Amazing hosts! It was comfortable and had all be needed. We enjoyed being in the village of Penally. It was a great spot from which to explore further into Pembrokeshire. We got as far as St David's and St Dogmaels. We also walked a lot from the house, including the beautiful walk into Tenby along the beach. We followed the instructions and brought our gear in from the rear. However for the rest of our stay, including when we left, we always used the front door. Whilst this was up steps we felt not as steep or hazardous as at the rear. The climb up to the house was well worth it for the incredible views out to Giltar Point.
