Temescal Farmers' Market Tours and Activities

This hotel was very good. Great location, staff was quick to respond to any questions or issues. My only complaints are these. Saturday morning I wanted to pick up a quick breakfast from the store where I had seen several breakfast options the day before. When I went down around 7:00am there was nothing available. I had to get take out from the restaurant. That night we had dinner in the restaurant. Service was extremely slow. We arrived at 6:30pm and did not get out of there until after 8:30pm. No apology or reason for the delay was offered. It was also very expensive for what we ordered, which was mostly salads.

The facility is beautiful. I was greeted warmly as soon as my UBER pulled up to the entrance. The check in was fast and easy (thank you Gianfranco for remembering me and being so kind) the room was beautiful and spotless. The bed and linens were so nice and comfortable. My partner got a fantastic massage and spa treatment, she always tells me the spa and the people who work there are amongst the best she has ever encountered, and she is a self described “spa junkie”. The fact that we can enjoy a resort like experience with a beautiful pool, tennis and pickle ball courts, gym and spa at the foot of the Oakland/Berkeley hills is really fantastic. The housekeeping and support staff are likewise great, warm and always available for any last minute requests like a vase for flowers. I love the Claremont and we will be back for sure. 5 stars all the way.

Everyone is helpful and goes beyond to make sure your stay is optimal. They have loaner cars and bikes on site, drinks upon arrival and the dress for dinner ranges from flip flops or workout clothes to dressy. The spa is top notch, you really don’t need to consider trying a different location.
