This getaway sits close to The Ness, a headland with wonderful views over the estuary and sea. Discover coastal walks and a historic smuggler’s tunnel leading to a hidden beach. From the village, a convenient pedestrian ferry runs throughout the day and into the early evening, offering easy access across the water to the lively Regency seaside town and port of Teignmouth, home to a mainline railway station.

Set across three floors, this beautiful cottage dating back to 1860, blends original character with a fresh, modern feel. Step into the hallway and you’ll find a comfortable sitting room complete with a bay window, reclining sofas, Smart TV, and a wood log burner-effect electric fire – perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Opposite, the stylish, fully equipped kitchen is paired with a cosy dining area seating four, ideal for cooking and enjoying meals together. On the first floor, there’s a bright and airy twin bedroom, along with a contemporary bathroom featuring a luxurious roll-top bath and a separate walk-in shower. Climb the stairs to the top floor and you’ll discover the charming master bedroom, set beneath exposed wooden beams and featuring a king-size bed and a unique feature ‘Wreckers’ window. Also tucked under the eaves on this floor is a fun snug area, perfect for children, complete with a Smart TV, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and comfy bean bags for relaxing and playing games.

Outside, to the rear of the property, is a private courtyard area that’s adorned with raised flower beds, featuring mood lighting and an outdoor dining area. Perfect for sharing a meal alfresco or simply enjoying some sunshine together.
