Booking problems and left on the street

Hotel had overbooked my reservation, and no reception was able to solve their mistake. Telephone service stopped being manned before announced latest checkin. Don't consider this place as a last minute option. No contact was initiated despite double booking, to sort out their mistake with me.

Svår incheckning då receptionen var stängd och ingen information nått oss. Löstes tack vare vänlig ledig personal som gav oss rätt telefonnummer vilket ledde oss rätt.

Vi kommer aldrig igen!

Adressen matchede ikke og vi brugte en time på at finde motellet. Bookede to værelser til i alt tre personer og da vi kom fik vi at vide, at de altså kun havde ét til tre personer. Vi kom sent og kunne ikke stille andet op end at tage værelset og sove alle i samme rum. Vi fik ikke penge retur selv om prisen byrde halveres eftersom vi havde betalt for to værelser forud for vores ophold. Personalet var ikke særligt serviceminded og vi havde ikke indtrykket af, at de gad gøre sig umage selv om de stod med en aftale som DE ikke kunne overholde. Alt i alt en forfærdelig oplevelse og vi kommer aldrig igen!

Datenschutzverstoß trotz Widerspruch! Das ist mir noch nicht passiert! Ich verbiete die Kopie meines Personalausweises beim Einchecken und trotzdem wurde eine Kopie gemacht👮‍♂️ Für die im Gesetz unter Art. 83 Abs. 5 DSGVO aufgelisteten, besonders gravierenden Verstöße beträgt der Bußgeldrahmen bis zu 20 Millionen Euro oder im Fall eines Unternehmens bis zu 4% des gesamten weltweit erzielten Jahresumsatzes im vorangegangenen Geschäftsjahr, je nachdem, welcher Wert der höhere ist. Komme ich noch darauf zurück, dass ich das Zimmer über Hotel.com gebucht habe, per Paypal bezahlt habe und vor Ort empfangen wurde mit einer 20 minütlichen Diskussion, dass ich mehr bezahlen müsste. Bei 200 Hotelübernachtungen im Jahr ist mir sowas in 30 Jahren noch nicht passiert
