This beach has the whitest sand and bluest waters I’ve ever seen! On Sundays it’s ridiculously busy with locals so prepare to feel like a zoo animal as people stare, wave and take photos of you. You have to pay 5000 rupiah to park your scooter (maybe just a tourists fee…). There are lots of bracelet kids and sarong/t-shirt sellers so get your “no thanks” face ready. The room was a bit cramped but otherwise good. The sloping sideways stairs were a bit of a challenge. The pool is good and staff were efficient and friendly.

Was quite shocked. Upon checking in, served a welcome drink, which was great but after that was just downhill. No towels were in the room and tried to call the front desk but the phone was disconnected. It took hours to get the towels. Power outage continued for so long and occurred frequently. The color of water was terrible… even for 1 night, wasn’t rest at all…

Sunrise with a low tide could create some very neat pictures. I was too late to take advantage of getting closer to the people out gathering the different types of seafood left stranded by the low water.
