Stayed for 2 nights. Rooms are clean and spacious. Parking lot is small but closed inside gated place. Excellent communication with very friendly staff. Easy check in/out. Place is part of/next to archaeological site & walking distance to theater. Took taxi (called by staff) to Ortigia (4 adults less than 20 Euros). Worth the visit!
This was our favourite property during our road trip of Sicily! The room was spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed. The gardens with the ancient ruins are idyllic for breakfast or relaxing in the evening. The property is conveniently located opposite the archeological park and within walking distance to the island of Ortigia. Sebiana, Dario and all the staff are absolutely amazing, very welcoming and personable. They provided us with lots of useful information about local beaches, places of interest and restaurants. I wish we could have stayed longer and would stay there again without hesitation.
Exceptional hosts in a beautiful hotel. They went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and give recommendations for all the best spots around Syracuse and Ortigia.
A beautiful old palace/house refurbished with a beautiful garden, wonderful room, nice staff and excellent location. Walking distance to archeological sites and Ortigia.
Dario is a superb host. We had a couple of minor problems which he sorted out with courtesy and appropriate speed. A room in the main house we believe to be the best choice. It was spacious, very quiet and very comfortable. Breakfast was very good especially eating outside. Do be warned though that the road outside can be very busy. When arriving park up the hill briefly while checking the gates are open or call Dario and he will meet you and open them. We also found the walk into Ortigia ok - just over 30 minutes.
