Cottage in the Woods is a gem
Staying at the Cottage in the Woods was wonderful. It was a nice retreat after hiking the Glen. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, the property was inviting, the room was super cozy, and breakfast was delicious. We would stay there again!

Weekend retreat
The whole w perience was great, from the accommodations to the hosts. The hosts were amazing and we have never seen anyone go above and beyond as this couple did. Not only to us but their other guests. Breakfasts were great and they always had a fire ready for us to light in the outdoor fireplace to sit and u wind at night with their house cat coming to sit on our lap. Great place to go if you are looking for a quiet weekend and enjoy a little of hiking.

This property and hosts were fabulous! It was very clean and nicely furnished. The location was very convenient to Ricketts Glen. We had a wonderful mini-vacation and look forward to returning. I give my highest recommendation!
