- ![Khao Sok National Park was dedicated in December 1980, and shortly thereafter dammed in 1982 creating the largest freshwater lake in Thailand, known as Cheow Larn Lake. The area was ultimately saved due to a pandemic that wiped out the local population, giving it the name “Khao Sop” - Corpse Mountain. It then witnessed guerrilla warfare, providing an ideal location for natural protection, which ultimately discouraged logging and hunting industries from taking form. Today it exists as an adventure playground with cave excursions, boat rides, and floating bungalow rentals.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort

#### Séjour de 3 nuits très agreable

Hôtel tout neuf avec énorme piscine (difficile à nettoyer !). Personnel accueillant et dévoué. Il manque des petites choses dans la chambre notamment pour poser les affaires. Bon restaurant. Tout près du lac.
