First off the towels were old and smelled absolutely terrible. Truly awful. So they had definitely not been washed. The replacement towels smelled ok, but were probably as old as I am. Not sure the room had been properly cleaned, as the kettle and fridge were also dirty. Also horrible noise that disturbed us was loud music from the bar of the Novotel Hotel which started from 10.00 pm to 2 am every night. The ethernet cable did not work, the power outlets are all old and plugs fall out of them, and one outlet did not work. So I think if you come to this hotel for business purposes it would be a mistake. I also had a too slow wifi speed on one of my laptops... did not work well at all... compared with other hotels in Solo where I had no problem with this same laptop. A newer laptop I own did work well, however. The wifi sign in process is inconvenient because it does not automatically log you in when you come back to the room. You have to forget the network and then sign in again. The price is affordable and the hotel is good. Love the room, the bed but the TV channel quality is not that good (the picture not too clear). The breakfast is standart for 3 stars hotel so no complaint about that.
