Schaefer Shoreline Adventure, Boat Slip

  • Schaefer Adventures is a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home on a level lot conveniently located at the 34.5mm, off 5-53, near Pirate's Point and Captain Ron's. This newer home is perfect for big families and reunions, sleeping 8, with a large kitchen, an island, and open-concept living and dining. Major interior remodel this Spring 2026 with large walk-in shower, new flooring in the main living area, plus a new dining room table and chairs (March 2026). Plenty of room for everyone to sit and view the lake through a wall of windows or lounge on the large deck and view the sunset every evening. Bring your boat with you! We have a two-well dock with a boat lift.

    You are welcome to use the garage to park your car, or use the air compressor to blow up rafts. In the garage is also a few dart boards for those rainy days and a stereo that turns on the outdoor speakers to the new patio area. You are welcome to use both boat slips at no extra charge! The 6,000lb vhaul lift is available in one slip and the second slip has no lift. There are 2 kayaks, a canoe, and a large floating mat along with rafts and fishing rods. Make yourself at home and start your adventures at the Schaefer Shoreline!

    Dog Friendly! You must get your dog(s) pre-approved. We allow up to two dogs, 75lbs or less. Keep your dog off the furniture and they should never be left alone, always supervised, unless crated. There is a $50 per dog fee, per stay. Once approved, we will send you a request to pay the pet fee. Please pick up after your pet.

    We are just a phone call away! Please correspond with us anytime during your stay so we can offer you the best vacation experience.

    Next Cove over is Captain Ron’s bar, Beach, and restaurant. You can use the access ramp for a fee or rent a boat or sea doos at Pirate Point which is the Cove on the other side of the house. All of this is within .5 mile of the house!

    Located near restaurants in Laurie, Woods Grocery Market, G2M Grocery, gas stations, and a quick drive across the Lake to Outlet Mall, shopping, antiques, HaHa Tonka State Park, the Bagnell Dam Strip, and much more!! Book your week/weekend get-a-way today!!

This was our 4th time staying here and we will be back again! We love the upgrades they have made in the new flooring and new shower in main bathroom. Very clean, well stocked kitchen, great location, great dock with kayaks and lily pad available for use.

Weekend at the ozarks!

We had a great time! The place was clean and nice to accommodate our fur babies and kids. Close to restaurants and shopping and the cove was surprisingly quiet and peaceful. Would highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay. We used the Lilly pad, kayaks, and the dock quite a lot. We also rented two waverunners from Pirate’s Point nearby. The house was fully stocked with everything and fit our needs well, especially being able to bring our sweet dog with us.

Get away

This was very clean and very well stocked with all one might need. Fun gift bags provided for guests and even a gift bag for my spoiled grand dog. We were lucky to have perfect weather and even got to use the kayaks. Really relaxing.

Perfect location

The managers went above & beyond to put all the little extras in place. The location was close to everything as we traveled & explored the area. Plenty of space for our three teenagers & 2 dogs. We enjoyed the fire ring, grills, dock, kayaks & canoe. A little get away from home with all the extras!

Great rental!

Home has everything for the stay including dog dishes, it is well-maintained and decorated. The only thing we needed was deicer for driveway (stayed during winter). Our dog was comfortable inside the house but we were cautious outside with her on the leash all the time as there are other dogs around. This is a great place to stay especially if you have a boat and/or paddle. We enjoyed our stay!

Time too short @ The Lake House

The stay was great. Property, house, location were all As expected or surpassed our expectation. There were several instances of hospitality above and beyond, wine, minibar, toiletries, even a couple Gatorade’s in the fridge. Our stay was short, cut shorter by an unexpected passing.... wish we had more time!!!

Great Spot on the Lake!

We love staying in this home when we vacation in the Lake of the Ozarks. It is situated in a quiet cove, which we appreciate. Love using the kayaks they provide and the large lilly pad to float on. There is a great area to wade in the water that's close to the dock. The home is comfortable with everything you need for a great vacation. Also appreciate having the use of a flattop grill along with a regular grill. The owners are the best -- with making sure we have what we need, so we can have the best vacation!

Great stay at a great location.

Our family and pets had an amazing stay. This place has everything, kayaks, swim mats, a canoe. The house was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. Plenty of space for our family of 7. Easy access to the main channel and close to a boat and wave runner rental spot. The nice quiet cove made it great for our younger kiddos to get lots of swim time without worrying about boats coming too close. Quick, reliable responses to any questions we had by the property manager. Would highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful vacation - beautiful home and location on the lake

We all enjoyed our stay at this house. The house is very comfortable and its location on the lake (cove) is perfect! So relaxing! We appreciate all the extras the owners leave for their guests, as well as the kayaks and lily pad that is at the house. We kayaked a few mornings; it is such a great way to start the day! The property managers were very responsive when there was an issue with the toilet and the microwave, and they took care of it within a couple hours. This was our second stay in this home and it won't be the last!

Very clean house with a beautiful view of the lake

Wow what a clean house! I can’t say enough about how clean and well stocked this house was. Everything was fully stocked in the kitchen ranging from pots and pans to utensils. There also was condiments left to use in the fridge I was able to pull my car into the garage everyday to keep cool from the ozarks sun during the day while we were out on our boat. I would rate this place A and would rent again. The gifts left for us when we should up was very nice. I’ll be back next year to rent the house again. Great spot in a cove with nice neighbors to talk to and light boat traffic at the end of the cove.

Amazing!!!

This place is the best!!! We are hoping to book again for next year. Found a marina close to get the boat in the water quick and easy. We really enjoyed being able to use the boat lift so we could keep our boat wiped down between rides. All the extras left at the house were great, including extra lake towels for family that forgot theirs. House is stocked with more than what you will need!!! Only thing if I had to be picky was the dock could use a cleaning and spray for the spiders. But we weren’t bothered too much by them!!!!

Fun and relaxing vacation in the Ozarks

We had a wonderful stay at Schaefer’s Lake House. The owners thought of everything! We were so excited to be welcomed with a bag full of goodies, a bottle of wine, and treats for our pup! During our stay, we enjoyed fishing, swimming, kayaking, and took a drive to HaHa Park to do some hiking and sightseeing. The convenience of being close to the grocery store, being provided with spices/condiments (loved Schaefer’s seasoning), cooking utensils, and being able to cook on the Blackstone grill made meal times so easy! We also utilized the provided kayaks, floating mat for the lake, bait for fishing, cornhole set, games, and deck of cards. We highly recommend staying here in the clean, cozy, and comfortable home with everything you need for a great time!
