Sweet Marion is a great house located right on a private channel off Lake Marion. Very secluded and quiet setting with dock access right in the back yard. The home was very well setup with 3 King sized beds and another bunk bed and two additional singles. Plenty of sleeping access for a large family. I booked this cottage as a surprise trip for my husband's Birthday and we had the best time celebrating with our family! There was enough space for us all to eat our meals together and sleep comfortably. We tied our boat up to the dock and took it out daily for fishing trips. It was a family favorite and used many times during our stay. The house was clean, but we did spot some cockroaches, including one in the downstairs king bed when we were getting in at the end of the night. The house was equipped with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, dishwasher detergent and laundry detergent. The propane grill did not have much propane, so we ended up filling that. We were pleasantly surprised with a brand new hot tub which was also a family favorite. It was hard to get in and out of for adults and children, as there were no steps to stand on, and the sides were high, but we made it work.The air conditioning should definitely be assessed, as the upstairs bedrooms were extremely hot during the day and night. The first floor was nice and cool though. Definitely some repairs that need to be made to the home, but overall an enjoyable experience. ##### Kristen B.
