I paddled almost every day and my husband was able to get out easily to go fishing. The neighborhood is walkable and the neighbors are friendly. The deck and pool area are just made for taking in the great view of the channel and ocean. The rooms are nicely sized, and the kitchen is well stocked. The location was perfect for our needs, fishing and diving. An easy jaunt to the back and straight out to the front via the channel markers. And the sunsets at American Shoal Light House were outstanding! We had a few minor issues, but Dana was wonderful to communicate with and most of them were taken care of as quickly as anything can be taken care of in the Keys. She kept in touch with us to make sure all was good. The absolute best part of the house - the pool! After a long hot day on the water, the pool was such a welcome site! My wife & I are locals to Key West, but a fire at our house left us, our cat and dog looking for accommodations during spring break. Both were old and our dog was a German Shepard. Many "pet friendly" places turned us down!!! Then we found Dana and on short notice, she welcomed us in! We can not thank her enough for the additional support that she provided. The house is wonderful, comfortable, and provided us the retreat that was so needed. We never had any issues and all the amenities exceeded our needs.
