Summerfield Vacation Packages

I have stayed here before for college dropoff/family weekend/etc with no issues. This time was different. The lock to my room (keycard) would not work. I repeatedly went to the front desk and they repeatedly reactivated my card telling me not to put it near phone or othe devices which I did not. Every single time I went back to the room the key did not work. Having to move my daughter into college I needed to be in and out of the room frequently. I asked someone to come please look at the lock as I didn’t think it was an issue with my key card, but with the lock and they said everyone has this problem. They refused to go look at it. I eventually could not get into the room at all and maintenance was called. Maintenance never showed up. I was unable to get into the room. I asked for a new room and they said they couldn’t accommodate me until the evening. That evening, the manager had to come up with a device to manually open my room and admit it the lock was broken. This was extremely frustrating when trying to move my daughter in to college and having to make numerous trips back-and-forth from the hotel. The new room was fine and the key worked perfectly. However, there were no pillows in the room just throw pillows. It had been a 12 hour day and I went to the front desk and kindly ask for pillows. They said the hotel has no more pillows I needed to use what was provided which were only throw pillows. I asked them if I could get pillows from prior room and was told no

The staff here are really insolent, and full of hubris for this to be a three star hotel. Very unprofessional. You’d be better off not staying here in my most humblest of opinions.

We love staying at this hotel. It is very nice and clean and staff is very friendly. This is our third year staying here and will again in the future.

Beautiful 100+ year old Bed and Breakfast. The food and hospitality were excellent. We would definitely go back.
