Helpful staff, great location, but the room was very noisy. Earplugs were supplied but you heard lots of noise from next door rooms and also loud bangs from outside. The bed was hard. The bathroom was old-fashioned but had good hot water. The heaters in the room provided good warmth as it was around 0degrees outside.
Great hotel, good location for the centre and station. Friendly and helpful staff.
Highly recommended

Excellent location - close to station, walkable to old town.
Only con was elevator - it was broken at the time of staying and I was allocated to the top floor...
Small hotel in a great location for the city centre and train station. Extremely helpful staff. Breakfast was continental style.

Disliked: Staff & service, amenities
Room was basic but ok. Room was clean and surprisingly quiet. Found it frustrating that both reception attendants did not speak basic English, which made communication difficult. This lead to a major misunderstanding about room charge amount. Until I insisted on seeing her computer screen and realized she was saying 400 but meaning 200.
Area surrounding hotel is a bit grungy and lots of vagrants. Most likely would not stay here again
The Hotel is as central as you want it. Great restaurants nearby, a short walk will bring you a variety of cuisine.
The rooms fronting the big street outside does have some amount of noice. The rooms are small, though updated, clean and functional. We chose to buy our breakfast don in the bahnhof area where there are cheaper alternatives.
The hotel next to the Bahnhof give you access to cheap transportation with east access to Stadt mitte, Porsche and Mercedes Museum and Football arena.
Late check in due to the train delay but very nice way to check in!!

Room was bare, extremely small, no air conditioning, and window opened to a brick wall. Staff were helpful and professional. Breakfast was very high quality.
Rooms are outdated. Hotel has huge potential. Owner milking without reinvesting. Reception staff great!

Ok stay but great location for train
Was ok for a short stay with convenience to train. Room was small for 3 people. No temperature control but did have a fan. Shower setup in the bathtub was REALLY strange. Check their bathroom pics. Service and breakfast were good. Small elevator but easy access to parking garage.
We enjoy staying in Hotel Rieker since many years during the Christmas Market season.
However this year there was a problem with the elevator and it could not be solved during our three days stay.
Fortunately the kind and friendly receptionist Mrs. Natali Matar was helpful. She and her husband helped us to bring down all our heavy luggages when we departed.
We want to thank again Mrs. Natali Matar. The hotel is so lucky to have this nice lady as their personnel.

This hotel is one of the worst I've been in a long time.
Check-in staff was AMAZING, I can give them that, he spoke four if not five language.
The room was the start of the disaster.
Bathroom floor drain would overflow when taking your shower, with dirty water and flood the whole floor of the bathroom.
Bathroom was not clean and dirty.
The bed was dirty. The duvet had hair and dirt all over them and the pillows as well.
No AC nor ventillation so only way to breath in that micro room is to open the windows which are inconvenient (They open over the bed, so if you are tall, watch your head) and then you get the noise all day and night.
The hotel is right next to the train station, police station, hospital and fire station. It will wake you up every 2-5 minutes with siren.
