Dog Friendly with fence! Welcome to Lily Bay Lodge, hosted by Simple Life Rentals! This 3-story home was built in 1988 and sits on a 2-acre wooded property with 200 feet of sandy Lake Michigan shoreline. It features 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and overlooks Lake Michigan so you'll experience breathtaking views from almost every room in the house. It also has a screened in porch that faces south and offers bug-free dining and the sounds of the waves hitting the shore add to the experience. The outdoor brick paved patio is on the lakeside and also has a table and chairs for outdoor dining. There is also a firepit on the beach for evening campfires. This home is located a short 10-minute drive to downtown Sturgeon Bay and is about 3/4 mile to the Lily Bay boat launch. This property allows up to 2 well-behaved dogs under 25 pounds each. There is an additional fee collected at booking. The owners were amazing and responded really quickly. We found the property ideally located to explore door county and very conducive to rest and relaxation that our family needed. Lily bay lodge had everything we needed and we will book again. the little enclosed patio was great for letting our dog pop out. ##### Anu R. Great location. Clean. Kitchen had everything we needed as we cooked there every night. I would say that this home was better in person than it shows on the website. We wanted someplace special for our anniversary and this location was perfection! Our stay couldn't have been any better! We appreciated the kindness of the owner ... it is obvious they care tremendously about the property. The accommodations were comfortable for us and our pups. Everything was clean and worked well. The fenced in yard for the dogs was great! The beach and the view were amazing... we were up early every morning to watch the sunrise! The lake house was very clean, spacious, and exactly as described. The highlight is the location. You have part of the lake Michigan shoreline as your backyard. It felt like a private beach because there were such few people around. My dog also enjoyed the fenced yard and we ate on the patio and screened in porch. The owner was very friendly and even offered us complimentary salmon that he had caught the night before. It was delicious. We will definitely be coming back during our next trip to door county. ##### sophia s. The screened porch wasn’t usable due to hundreds of flying ants inside, particularly in the afternoon & evenings. Also ants in the kitchen, but not bad compared to the screened porch.
