Quiet location outside of busy areas of door county. But just a few minutes from downtown sturgeon bay. Clean, spacious and well equipped. We enjoyed walking and biking the "loop".
We enjoyed our stay. Loved the extras that came with the property such as the kayaks, bikes and baby equipment. Secluded but still close to water, beaches and the town of Sturgeon Bay.Hosts were very quick to respond to our questions.
We had such a good time. The home meet all of needs from carefully appointed amenities to the fun extras of retro game consoles and enough seating for all of us. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!
Had a very nice time. Family friendly place. Owners are very accommodating. Parking accommodated our boat well, too. Nice fishing spots We appreciate the opportunity to stay there.
Something for all ages. Games, biking and fishing. Enjoyed being so close to bays, beautiful scenery. Recommend Renards cheese. Definitely would visit again.
Was a great location and the property was perfect for a guys ice fishing weekend. The house was very nice with everything you would need. Comfortable beds and bedding. Saw deer most morning and night from the front room windows! Would love to get up there again to enjoy the property in the summer!
We had a fantastic stay at this Door County Cottage. It is a wonderful place for a stay with friends or family with lots of activities and a great patio for relaxing. We recommend kayaking to Haines Beach. It is a short trip and provides a beautiful view of the lake and surrounding houses. Highly recommend this place!!!
Very clean and spacious with large bedrooms and a fully stocked kitchen. Can't beat the location - very peaceful with deer, eagles and other wildlife right outside the window. We did a couple day trips up the bayside and down the lakeside and easily made it back in time to relax and play some games. Rick was a great host and we hope to come back again soon.
We stayed for a long weekend and loved this place. It’s located off the beaten path but easy with access to local amenities. The house is very clean and well maintained. The neighborhood is quiet and beautifully wooded. The owners have lots of extras for guests and although we didn’t meet in person, were very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!!
A few of my friends and I stayed at this house for a bachelorette weekend getaway. It was perfect for what we needed. The place was clean and modernized, the kitchen was fully stocked with the basics, and everything was easy to use. The owners are also easy to communicate with. It was within easy driving distance of the rest of Door County so it's easy to take day trips to explore the peninsula further. I would stay here again.
This was the perfect location for our annual friends trip! It was easy to get to and the perfect amount of space for us all. The games were a hit between all of us and we played games we haven’t played in years. It was like old times! Being able to walk around the neighborhood every morning was great too. Highly recommend booking this property! You won’t regret it.
Wonderful property. Very clean and is very well stocked with essentials. Loved the quiet of winter, walks to the lake, and a beautiful snow storm. Internet and TVs worked perfectly which doesn’t always happen in Door County. Would go back again. Thanks to great hosts.
We really enjoyed our stay. My son absolutely loved the bikes you had! He rode bike all weekend! The fire pit was so enjoyable in the evenings. It had everything we needed! Having a grill was a huge plus for us as we love grilling out during the summer!! Rick was so quick to respond with any questions. Highly recommend staying with!! Will definitely be coming back for another family get away!
Great home in a very quiet and secluded area. The home was relatively clean, however our dog did find some trash, presumably from a previous guest, underneath the couch. The home was otherwise very clean. The fireplace was not functional, which was a bit of a disappointment as we arrived in winter, and the heat was a little hit/miss at times, but nothing that was unmanageable. Overall we had a very nice time and would recommend the property to anyone.
Annual girlfriends Christmas weekend. The house was open and spacious. Plenty of beds and bathrooms. Had some epic Super Mario Brothers competitions. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you could need, griddle, crockpot and a hand mixer were a bonus. Beds and pillows were comfortable. There was a larger stand fan in the bedroom. There noise machine in the bunk room was well used. Plenty of paring fit our 5 cars.
I am one of 8 siblings. We had 3 groups staying on Snake Island. 2 groups had houses on the water so this house worked for my parents and my family to escape the craziness. We were able to enjoy the other houses on the water and come back and enjoy the space and quiet of this property. This house had the most space and amenities. Tons of games, video games the garage was fully stocked. Especially liked having 2 bathrooms and laundry. Plenty of towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Our kids grabbed bikes and were able to bike to the other properties and since we had so many people we got use of having the regular size kayaks, so we could kayak in big groups. There were also a large range of sizes for life jackets to choose from and in great condition.
Everyone agreed this was the best house, it was just not “ on the water”.Worked for us because I didn’t have to host a dinner and clean up after everyone. It is also with walking distance to where you can launch kayaks. The host responded whenever I had a question and offered suggestions.
