The hotel was okay overall, but it definitely shows its age. The room was clean enough and the staff were polite, so it wasn’t a terrible stay but the place feels worn and outdated.
One thing that stood out was a lingering smell throughout the hallways and room. It’s hard to describe exactly, but it has that typical “old hotel” scent, slightly musty and a bit unpleasant. It didn’t completely ruin the stay, but it was noticeable and made the environment feel less fresh than expected.
With some renovations and better ventilation, this place could be much more comfortable. As it stands, it’s decent for a short stay, but don’t expect anything modern or particularly inviting.

The staff were so kind and let us check in early. They constantly asked how we were enjoying the stay and if there was anything that we needed. The property was clean and super cute!

This hotel far exceeded my expectations. I was in Boston for a conference at Harvard and would normally stay at the Newbury but tried this for convenience. It felt like a luxury hotel with the service and the fresh design.
