"Overall, we loved our stay in Hallstatt Lakeside Top 2! We had an amazing view, it was located in a perfect spot to walk and explore the town, it was safe, and located right next door to an excellent cafe. "Really nice new hotel well positioned for visiting by foot. Personal is very kind. We absolutely loved our 2-day stay in Salzburg. My only small negative point is that the air conditioning is not able to go below 23. As Canadians, it’s a bit too hot to sleep. The most positive point was the excellent restaurant in the hotel. De-li-cious!!!"

"The room decor was very nice with music note carpeting as an homage to “The Sound of Music”. The reviews said walkable from train station but it was a fair distance and not too straightforward. We managed but just be aware. We felt we received great value for the price and front staff were lovely and accommodating. "

"Excellent stay overall. The hotel is a short (maybe 5 min.) walk from the rail way station. Spacious room, very comfortable bed, very clean premises, great service. I was pleasantly surprised that the local tax due at check-in includes a complimentary local transportation pass for each person, which came very handy throughout our stay. There is a construction going on across the street (July 2025) - that's outside of the hotel's control, but our room had the not-so-great construction view. "
