We were there only overnight so we probably would have been better off just booking a hotel room, but for a vacationing family on a budget, this would be a suitable place. The only real issue we had, typical in Australia, was spiders and cobwebs (and other insects) in the place, but the place was not overrun with them. Our apartment had everything we needed and more. The apartment was impressively clean and very well set out. Staff were friendly and helpful. The staff were friendly and helpful and provided most amenities for the traveler. The only reason it got a lesser star rating was the shared laundry facilities. Wish I could stay longer. Like many parts of Tasmania, the town is very quiet; not the place for nightlife! My entire family was impressed with Marsden court. We booked three seperate rooms and ALL of them were phenomenonal. Each one was well stocked and CLEAN. And well maintained. Nothing was broken or chipped or damaged. There was extra blankets if needed as well as tea and a kettle. The water pressure in the shower was amazing, perfect after a long day of hiking and driving. I called the facility late in the afternoon, to inquire about late check in. Pam was wonderful and super helpful and accommadating. She even asked if we needed a cot for our baby and had everythi g set up for us upon arrival after hours. My only regret is not being able to say thank you in person as we had to leave early in the morning the next day. I will be coming back and when i do.
