Annapolis, Washington DC, Baltimore as well as many charming Eastern Shore towns are all less than an hour's drive away. Amazing screened-in porch (now with a 3 season enclosure), farm style dinner table, fireplace, large screen TV and cozy swing bed. Fenced-in back yard with cedar barrel sauna under tall mature pines!  
  
Upon your arrival you'll be welcomed by the natural beauty of our quaint gardens to take you back in time to the simpler days. Designed to bring feelings of enchantment and relaxation, inviting you to escape the hustle and bustle of modern life and immerse yourself in a peaceful and natural oasis.   
  
Enter into the open concept living room and kitchen with cathedral ceilings to connect with family and friends. Snuggle up on the couch to watch a movie or gather in the kitchen to prepare your favorite meal. For an authentic Kent Island Maryland experience, try Chesapeake Blue Crabs.   
  
Once you step onto the screened-in 3 season porch you'll never want to leave. Hands down the BEST VRBO stay we’ve had. The house was beautiful, attention to detail was second to none and I promise they have thought of everything to be the perfect host. Karen & Mark are fabulous hosts! They are thoughtful, kind & responsive. The cottage exudes their loving touch. The back yard is private & peaceful. Our doggie happily kept the squirrels in check. #### Getting ready for the wedding

This home was the perfect place for us to calmly relax for a few days before our son’s wedding in Stevensville. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful and accommodating. The house is lovely, tidy, and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is well-equipped, the bedrooms and bathrooms are comfortable, neat and clean. We loved the backyard, the spacious screened-in back porch, and sitting on the front porch enjoying the beautiful garden. Nice quiet neighborhood in a great location!

We had a great stay at this home - excellent communication with owners, well-stocked kitchen and several nice touches thoughout the house. Loved the rockers on the screened in porch. We brought our dogs and they enjoyed the fenced in yard.

#### Excellent property for a relaxing getaway

This property was exactly what we were looking for, as two couples with our dogs. It is a beautiful place with lots of thoughtful touches. It was clean and just as pictured. Mark and Karen were very responsive and excellent to communicate with. We hope to be back!

#### Remarkable homestay experience 

This exceptional property was our best homestay experience yet across several states and countries. The unit has so many customized features that make it stand out, from the fire pit (fire already built) and sauna (water bucket already filled) to the kitchen and bedrooms, where no detail has been missed. The owners were extremely proactive and responsive throughout our stay, and we look forward to booking again soon.

#### Did we have to leave??

This was by far one of my most favorite rental stays of my life. The home was beautifully landscaped, so clean, and we truly did not want to check out! The decor and amenities were so we thoughtful and really enhanced our stay. You can really tell that Mark and his family have put a lot of consideration and love into the house, continuously making it even better for upcoming guests. It is on a nice quiet road, close to a small beach that was perfect to walk our dogs. My only complaint is that I couldn’t stay longer! Hoping to make it back for another trip in the future. Thank you again!

#### This house is perfection!

Had a wonderful mini vacation with my dog on Kent Island. The house and outdoor amenities were fantastic! We loved all the different outdoor sitting areas including the porch swing (with gas fireplace nearby), bar with service window from kitchen, relaxing front porch, and beautiful backyard seating sets. And I highly recommend a morning sauna..so refreshing. The landscaping is beautiful and well maintained, including several bird feeders. We enjoyed the neighborhood with several small private beaches, and were still close enough for short drives to other parks, restaurants, wineries, etc. I can't recommend this house enough!

#### Impeccable!!!

Beautiful home with LOTS of attention to detail. The backyard was a beautiful oasis and we LOVED the “swing bed” on the screened-in porch. Mark and Karen add lots of fine touches to make your stay special. Plenty of room for two, cozy for four, and comfortable for four legged friends with the fenced in back yard. Quiet and private with a short 10 minute drive to town. Can’t wait to return!

#### Wonderful getaway

We loved our stay. The house was spotless; Mark and Karen have provided everything one could possibly need, and they were super responsive. We enjoyed the porch, sauna, and fire pit; and our dog enjoyed the fully fenced backyard, nearby hikes, and dog-friendly local restaurants. Highly recommend!

This place is great. From the layout, to the sauna, screened in porch and backyard, the owners have thought hard about what features make for a luxurious, comfortable and fun experience. This weekend, we had the pleasure of staying at Mark and Karen's place, and it was truly immaculate and thoughtfully designed. They’ve considered every detail, providing everything you could possibly need for a fantastic stay.One of the main reasons we chose this house was to have a gathering with our brother, who uses a wheelchair. This house checks all the boxes for accessibility. The doors throughout the home are wide enough to easily accommodate a larger wheelchair, including the doorways to the bedrooms and bathrooms. The bathrooms are also spacious enough to allow for smooth navigation Every part of this house is perfect for someone in a wheelchair, with plenty of space to move around comfortably. Both bedrooms offer ample room, though the front bedroom would have been especially ideal if my brother had stayed the night.Upon entering the home, we were welcomed into the cozy living area, featuring a lovely gas fireplace and incredibly comfortable seating—the perfect spot to unwind. The kitchen was a highlight, with the most charming coffee bar stocked with all the essentials to craft the perfect cup of coffee. It also boasted a sleek gas stove and plenty of space around the bar, ideal for enjoying happy hour with friends. The back porch was delightful. Although the weather was damp and chilly when we were there I could easily imagine spending hours out there on a nicer day. It was a dream, complete with comfy seating, a fireplace, a TV and a gorgeous table.

#### A moms trip away to Remember!!

We can’t express how perfect our stay was. This property is perfect! And the details added were just beyond. We explained that we were using the home for a Moms weekend away to read and relax and we were greeted with an amazing table scape and chocolates! No one wanted to leave. #### Long Weekend Getaway

We live in Washington DC and wanted to get out of town for inauguration weekend, so we stayed at this home. This was our second time staying here and we will definitely be going back. The home is perfect. Super cozy, super clean, and very quiet. The hosts are the nicest people ever, which makes staying there even more pleasurable.

We loved everything about this home! It was cozy and had everything you could possibly need. We loved the mug wall and the coffee bar. The bathrooms are beautiful and very well stocked and the vanity’s in each of the bedrooms are a nice touch! If we visit the area again we will definitely stay here! I highly recommend this vacation rental!!

#### Quiet getaway

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay!, as a matter of fact we wished we had stayed longer! we did some hiking in a local park with our dog, went bike riding and explored the Kent Island area. the house was really nice, perfect! we had everything we could need and enjoyed using the sauna on our last day. Mark and Karen were wonderful hosts, they even left us freshly baked muffins that my husband could not stop eating!!!
