We arrived a little after 5:00PM, when I used the code to enter I surprised the man who was cleaning the rental. He said " I didn't realize it was already 4:30". Check in time is 4:00. The home had a very strong odor of cleaning solvent of some kind; we had to open the door and windows to air it out. Plenty of room for our group. 4 adults and 2 little ones. Plenty of activities to keep everyone busy. There is not a table to sit at for a meal. There is room for 3 to be seated at the counter on the dining room side of the kitchen. We had difficulty with the projection TV but when I reached out we had an immediate response. We were going to use to deck and fire table but the propane tank was empty. We needed to use the washer for baby items but the dryer was "out of order". Unfortunately, that sign was inside the dryer and was not realized until the items were ready to go into the dryer. Location is conveniently located to many restaurants and shopping. The neighborhood is quiet & safe, nice playground for the kids about 1/2 mile away. Plenty of parking.

The house was perfect for our Christmas visit with family. The host made us feel welcome by providing a table for a nice family dinner and decorating with festive lights, tree, and other decorations. Very happy with the whole experience.

Our stay here was outstanding. The house was clean, spacious, and close to many shops/restaurants. Our first evening we spent in downtown Winchester which was an easy drive from the home. The next day was spent at the Virginia Scottish Games, about 35 minutes away. The house was definitely worth the stay! We had a great time. It was even one of the best smelling houses we had ever rented! 100% recommend and would stay again.

This house is very nice, the game amenities are pretty cool though we didn't spend much time in the house. The ac worked great, plumbing solid with nice hot water, towels and bedding furnished. Only ding was on the check in process, needed to send a message to get the key lock because an automated or otherwise message was never sent. I assume that's on the vrbo side of things.

Large, clean home but needs some TLC

Overall, we were pretty happy with the stay. The home was clean and quiet with many options for kids to have fun downstairs. Being pet friendly was a BIG plus for us.Our biggest complaints are related to the fact that were several small issues that added up such as no table for eating meals around (just the bar in the kitchen), some drawers in the kitchen being inoperable, broken toilet handle, etc. Nothing HUGE, just minor inconveniences that add up. With some TLC, this could be a very nice property.

Great house for a girls weekend

Had a great stay at this property for a girls weekend. Nearby to cute shops, a nice winery, grocery stores and restaurants. Nice amenities with games, entertainment systems, outdoor space, and in a great neighborhood too. Lots of space for families or friend reunions. Will rent again here when staying in the area.

Great house for family and friends

The house and location was perfect for my family and friends that live in the area. Perfect for the grandkids with all the games. Only thing I would recommend is a little work to the back deck and hand rails on the front porch. My family,friends and dogs enjoyed our stay. Thank you for hosting us
