"The hotel is a credit to the owner in every respect. My wife and I were on holiday to sample various areas of Germany. All staff were most welcoming and helpful. We only had one evening meal there but it was outstanding, and we have eaten in many fine restaurants around the world. It was the first stop on our holiday and it could not have been better. "The front desk clerk was polite and helpful. The view of Marburg Castle from our room was incredible! Unfortunately that was the only positive part of our stay. The room was tiny, the carpets were stained and gross and the cleaner knocked on our door before check out time when the “do not disturb” sign was on the door. The location is close to the old town, restaurants and shopping but I would not stay here again."

"This house is lovely. It was in a perfect place for where we needed to be. This property is perfect for a family with young children. Because the beds upstairs are for young children not for adults. It was difficult getting in and out of the bed upstairs because I am 50\. We loved watching the birds outside the windows. It is a sweet cabin. We wish they had a clothes dryer"

"I was charged for the booking by Expedia but the hotel said the room was not paid for, so we assumed it was payment on arrival and paid the hotel. When we returned home, we found that Expedia had also charged us for the same stay. Furthermore the hotel did not provide us with an official receipt, that we can remember. As a result, we are having difficulty getting our duplicate payment refunded from Expedia. We are attempting to contact the hotel to obtain a copy of their receipt to prove to Expedia that we have paid the hotel, directly, in the hope to get our duplicate payment refunded."
