Just steps to a 5 mile stretch of world class beach and walking distance to restaurants, convenience stores, and nightlife. Clean and comfortable, the perfect place to vacation. Relax on the dock while enjoying your favorite drink; the excitement of dolphin and manatee sightings never gets old. Sunrise on our dock, and sunsets on the beach, we love our property and know you will too. Our one bedroom apartment is offered exclusively to guests (no owner's belongings to navigate around). We provide a welcome "starter" of complimentary coffee, tea, creamer, condiments, spices, and more. This is a ground floor unit with approximately 450 square feet of living area just off the center courtyard. The tranquil inter-coastal backyard is just through the adjoining breezeway. Please note, there is no water view from inside the apartment. There is one king bed in the bedroom and USB plugins for your electronics are provided in both the bedroom and living area. The property is secured by a large, access controlled wooden gate; and the apartment has a smart lock with keyless entry. Guests are provided access codes the morning of their scheduled arrival via text and email. The apartment is equipped with two "Smart TV's" with internet streaming services (Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, etc) -- guests must have their own account. High speed Wi-Fi internet is provided throughout the property (yes--even outside on the grounds!) at no charge. We provide toiletries, linens, towels, beach accessories (chairs, umbrellas, towels, coolers), gas BBQ grill, complimentary clothes washer/dryer. The large smart key controlled shed holds many of the goodies--you will be provided the code upon check in. Some of the above items are available on a first come first served basis. The apartment has an open kitchen (no dishwasher) and is equipped with all the basics a guest needs to dine in. You will find a K-cup coffee maker, toaster, blender, pots and pans, etc. The full size refrigerator has an ice maker. Central air-conditioning (no wall units or mini-splits) provides guests with consistent climate comfort and very little background noise. About the property: there are 4 apartments on the property (2/2, 2/1, 1/1, and a Single). The spacious grounds, beach and other "toys" are shared by all guests. The property affords multiple seating areas for our guest's comfort. There is also a hot/cold outdoor shower with a privacy door that you won't want to miss, and a spectacular outside kitchen/bar for entertaining! The beach is literally across the street! Also directly across the street is the Island Inn Resort which has a great little Tiki Bar on the beach and is open to the public (the pool however is NOT open to non-island inn guests). You can rent kayaks, paddleboards, umbrellas, chaise lounges and more on the beach in front of the Island Inn. A short walk to the south of us is a liquor store, surf shop (with paddle board rentals), 7-11 store with gas, Caddy's on the Beach, Sea Dogs, Shrimpy's and Taco Bus restaurant. About a 10 minute walk to the north of us is Publix grocery store and many restaurants and bars. Close to Tyrone Square Shopping Mall, Salvador Dali Museum, Sunken Gardens, St. Petersburg Downtown, Fort De Soto Park. Tampa International Airport is about a 35 minute drive. Busch Gardens and Tampa Bay Aquarium are about a 45 minute drive. Clearwater Beach and Marine Aquarium are about 25 minutes north of us. We are approximately 2 hours from Disney World, Sea World & Universal Studios-Orlando. There are 5 parking spaces in front of our building (A thru E). All of the spaces are the same width, but different lengths due to the angle of the building. Please park in the space that best fits the length of your vehicle. Parking space E is best suited for guests with full size pickup trucks or suburban type SUVs. Please note parking is limited to 1 vehicle only. If you choose to park in space E and there is a guest with a larger vehicle than yours, you may be asked to move your vehicle. Laundry closet is located next to the center courtyard and there is no charge to use the machines. One boat slip is available to guests and must be reserved in advance. A $25 per day boat docking fee will be charged. It has an inner courtyard so we could leave our wet sandy beach gear on a table right outside our door. the shared patio is really, really spectacular :) We didn't spend much time there as we were visiting family in the area. It was really convenient to be able to use the beach chairs and the beach towels in the shed. We'd stay here again! ##### anna m. It beats all of the condos and big name luxury resorts by a mile. You have your own private oasis with everything at your finger tips. Tom has made this a true relaxation destination. This place was an absolute gem - from the secure front gate leading to the 3 units (we loved being able to leave our unit's front door open for light/access and feel safe inside this secure "compound"), to the GORGEOUS backyard oasis with Adirondack chairs, foliage/ ambiance with water view, to the dock seating/view, & the amazing outdoor kitchen w/ grill, fridge, sink and TV that we definitely utilized - I couldn't ask for more. This place is also just across the street from the soft-sand Gulf beach, and you're supplied with all amenities - SUPs, beach chairs, coolers, life jackets, etc. We loved using the outdoor shower and laying in the hammock. Our place was modern, very clean and the bed/pillows were AMAZING - like sleeping on a cloud!! Tom was very communicative and helpful. We would definitely stay here again! ##### Jaime W. The best part about this place is the access to extra gear. You don't need to worry about carting anything for the beach. There are chairs, rafts, boards, sunscreen, towels,coolers, fishing gear, and even bait buckets. The atmosphere outside at night is amazing on the back deck. Very peaceful. The beach is just across the street and a crosswalk and public beach access is right outside. The outdoor shower is amazing and easy washer & dryer access. Woke up and had our coffee out on the dock, fished and then walked across the street to the beach access. Apt and property was very clean and neat. The dock in the back was a wonderful place to see dolphins and pelicans. The beach was a short walk across the street.
