"The room was clean and decorated beautifully, the bedding and pillows were so cosy and soft and much needed on a cold evening! Staff were all friendly, polite and helpful. Had dinner which was worth every penny and a generous portion, and the same for breakfast. It’s a steep walk up to Port Isaac but not as bad as it looks, if you turn right at the car park at the top of the hill you can walk along a path with great views that leads to a nice ice cream shop. Lovely touch of dry robes in the bedroom cupboard to be used if needed, we were very lucky with the weather so didn’t need them but would’ve been handy if a bit cold and wet! "

Room five has a lovely bathroom the only thing that very slightly let it down was the shower control isn't thermostatic so slight pressure variances from other rooms do cause the odd cold shock moment. Only slight issue was the bed was advertised as a king but it was two singles which was a bit uncomfortable in the middle, but we were very happy with our stay"
