There is a steep, narrow staircase to the bedrooms. We took motion sensor lights with us to illuminate the stairs at night, very glad we did. The steep access to the property includes 2 hairpin bends. Our shopping delivery had to be wheeled up the hill as the van didn’t make it. There is a public footpath that runs past...

"The Hotel and staff were excellent BUT the price of drinks at the bar were ridiculous! We paid 27.50 GBP for 2 glasses of wine and then went to the Harbour masters Restaurant and paid 16.50 for the same wine!!!! The food in the evening was excellent but Breakfast was barely luke warm!! Nice to stay there but drink elsewhere... I was a Regional Director for Compass Group Restaurants and I was absolutely flabbergasted by the pricing on Wine. Normally wine would be approximately 3 times the bought in price but this was at least 5 times as the quality was nothing special!!!! Breakfast needs to be better managed!"

"We chose the cheapest room as we were only staying for one night, which was clean and presentable. Shower room was also clean. Only issue to be aware of is the steps into the room. There is a sign to warn you on the door but the last step was deeper than the others and we both stumbled. Breakfast provided was adequate to start your day. Free car parking and lots of spaces available. Receptionist was slso very friendly.Lamphey Hall is set in a lovely location.A short walk to Lamphey Palace and local pub for evening meal.A five minute drive into Pembroke town."

"After a full day riding through tough rain on motorcycles with my cousin, to arrive there was a welcoming sight. Not only that, but the staff, the gentleman working that evening, was simply amazing. Arranged an electric heater for our room to dry off our rising clothes whilst he turned on the heating system for the radiators to get hot. So helpful and willing to do that little bit extra. We will be back on our next Welsh tour. Room had sea view, so I believe but with heavy rain and low cloud didn’t see it myself but I’m sure it would be lovely on a sunny day. Didn’t do breakfast as left early."

Lovely and quiet and no light pollution even though on a farm. Kitchen well equipped although knives could do with sharpening. Not real WiFi (dongle) but that didn’t bother us as we were on holiday! Only 10 mins to St David’s so well situated. Had a lovely stay."
