Go for a refreshing swim in the private pool in the back of the house, take a stimulating swim in the ocean just steps away from the house, or go exploring the city on the famous trolley tour. At night, go out exploring the local cuisine or gather round the large dining table for a family meal. You will find so much to do in the Ancient City of St Augustine!  
  
This home, St Augustine Rose, is lovely and so comfortable and tastefully done. There is an abundance of space and you will find it so convenient being so close to all you need and yet totally private in this lovely residential neighborhood. With the beach just a short walk away you will find yourself spending a lot of time there. But the views change daily depending upon when the Dolphin are jumping, or the turtles are hatching, or what beautiful seashells the waves have landing at your feet. With the sunshine and refreshing salty sea breezes kissing your cheeks, the Gulls flying overhead and the Pelicans who fly in an exact straight-line overhead, you never know what you will find down at the sandy shoreline of the Atlantic Ocean. There are literally miles of shoreline to explore.   
  
To the north you will find the St Augustine Pier and to the south, Matanzas Inlet. In between as you meander up to A1A, you will find restaurants and many shops. To the north try the Beachcomber that sits right upon the sand serving local style island food and many crazy island drinks. You do know that when you stay at St Augustine Rose you are on a beautiful Island right? Yes! Anastasia Island is amazing and bordered by the Intracoastal Waterway to the west and the Atlantic Ocean to the east. Sand dunes covered in dune daisies and sea oats border between the homes and the seashore. Native bunnies and tortoises live there and it is such a delight when you spot one. There is also a beach mouse that is protected, but I personally have never seen one! They stay in the grasses and are not interested in houses at all.

Attend the Farmers Market on Saturday morning at the Amphitheater and gather your treasures to take back home with you. Layout: The main living area of the home (kitchen, living room, dining) are on the 3rd floor. Bedroom 1 / Bathroom 1 (king master suite) and the half bath are also on the 3rd floor. All other bedrooms and bathrooms are located on the 2nd floor.   
  
Pool heat is available seasonally (November through February) for $176.25\. Please note: pool heat requires two days to fully heat the water so please let us know at least two days prior to arrival if you\`d like the pool heated.   
  
No pets allowed. There is a $500 fine if a pet is found on site.   
  
The elevator on site is not for guest use and is not mentioned in the listing for this reason.  
You must be at least 25 years of age in order to make a reservation. The person who makes the reservation must occupy the residence for the duration of the reservation.  
Please lock the door each time you leave the property.  
Pets are strictly prohibited. A fine of $500 will be assessed if traveling with a pet.
