Such a lovely home it is so spacious much larger than it looks in photos. Tons of extra special touches, wine, popcorn, high end soaps and just about everything you could need. We have rented many beach homes and honestly this was my favorite! Close walk to the amazing beaches and we could always hear the roar of the Atlantic Ocean. Already making plans for the next trip! We booked the home because it had 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms but we were afraid we would be a little isolated from the exciting events and fun of the historic city. We were relieved to discover how quickly and easily we could get to wedding events and city tours. And to our delight, the home became a lovely oasis, a perfect contrast to the busy-ness of the city and Anastasia Island. Lots to do close by (15 minutes?) but a quiet, expansive beach and nice restaurants within walking distance (blocks) and just a 2 mile drive to the small town of Vilano Beach with more restaurants, a marina, and another lovely beach. We have LOVED the home & the location. It is one of the best rentals we’ve had & we’ve been using vrbo multiple times a year for about 12 yrs. Hands down the best stocked kitchen, bathrooms & love the decor - especially the holiday decor in every room. Beds & furniture were very comfy. There is a lot of baby/toddler gear if needed too. It was too cold to use the beach gear but that looked plentiful too. We did walk on the beach & there is an access point a block away. Carrie & Cory were super fast at responding to any questions. We enjoyed the slow pace of Vilano Beach after busy days in St Augustine. If you are a golf fan, don’t miss the World Golf Hall of Fame and also grab a meal at the TPC Sawgrass clubhouse.
